Job Description:

The EHS Management position holder works under the Site Service Department.
He/she will be under the hierarchical and operation responsibility of the Ho Site Services and will mainly be responsible for the whole ALS Site EHS Management, assure the compliance to local regulation and Airbus policies. 

The jobholder is responsible and accountable for the EHS performance. Accountable to define and implement EHS procedures on site to protect the site’s integrity, people, processes, execution, behaviour, sustainability, including but not limited to environmental aspects, occupational health, safety. Enable the business to comply with legal requirements and Airbus policy. 

Operational activities
Establish systematic EHS Management system on site and closely monitor the execution. Quick response to the corrections, deviations, investigations etc.
Follows the Airbus EHS policy, directive, method, etc. for local implementation. Implement Airbus EHS policies, directives and procedures and support deployment of Airbus Company related regulations.
Ensure the follow-up of regulatory authorisations. 
Ensure the regulatory monitoring of installations (inspections and periodic controls).
Ensure the follow-up of regulatory analyses and produce interpretation reports.
Ensure the management of site waste and in particular the production of the Group's recycling activity.
Coordinate material removal operations with the site's channels. 
Ensure the follow-up of weighing, Waste Tracking Slips and the waste register. 
Ensure the necessary reporting in the context of the regulations in force.
Ensures self-monitoring and participates in steering the environmental performance of the sites.
Monitor the recovery of waste and collaborate in the implementation of new waste recovery projects (composite, special metals, rare earths, etc.)
Deploy and monitor environmental indicators (recovery rates, carbon footprint, etc.)
Prepare and monitor development or investment projects.
Prepare and manage EHS relevant files.
Follow up the missions of the Site Services Department.
Root cause investigation and follow up corrective actions, preventive actions.
Manage environmental accidents on site:
Carry out actions to be implemented in the short/medium term.
Make a brief report of the actions carried out.
Call on external organisations if the actions do not fall within the scope of the Infrastructure/Waste Facility Department.
Report any malfunctions or risk situations to department managers.
Implement tools to improve EHS relevant performance and results.
Leading the deployment of EHS culture on site.
Carry out internal EHS audit and lead cross teams to prepare for external EHS audit.
Participate in the supervision of the deployment of the health and safety policy and actions on the site.
Chemical management on site focuses on introduction of chemicals to site, transportation, MSDS, handling, storage, disposal of hazard waste, authority inspection etc. Responsible for setting up and maintaining the hazardous management procedure.
PPE management for the whole site. Responsible for confirming and providing the appropriate PPE to all employees.
Corporate with Quality and HR department for safety related training.
Corporate with the HR department for setting up and maintaining the employee occupational physical examination process and employee occupational health records.
Responsible for setting and maintaining the clinic and first-aid working process.
Monitor and take corrective actions for industry hygiene improvements.
Establish and maintain ergonomic works including risk assessment.
Raise awareness of and actively promote EHS culture and Airbus’ commitments.
Drive a behaviour based H&S culture with systematic adherence to standards.
Assist business to identify applicable EHS legal requirements and potential EHS impacts, hazards and risks.
EHS relevant budget planning and management.
Follow up other tasks assigned by the manager and assure the delivery.

Financial Outputs
Monitor the price of raw materials and the sale prices of recyclable materials from the dismantling activity.
Client related Outputs
Define protocols to ensure clients welcome on site taking into account their constraints without compromising safety.
Operational Outputs
Knowledge of EHS regulations.
Knowledge of national/local regulations, waste and ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
Knowledge of the various functional professions.
Basic knowledge of CAAC & EASA Part 145 regulations is preferred
Occupational health and safety regulations.
Ensure the implementation of National/local procedures.
Carry out checks on the application of regulations and the implementation of internal procedures and standards.
 

Qualifications 

Education: Bachelor+5 Environment, Health & Safety or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in industrial plants, MRO experience is preferred. Experience in the establishment of ISO14001 is a plus.
Basic Skills: Command in English, Computer skills (Office, Google)
Certifications: Licence holder of Certified Safety Engineer is preferred. Auditor certification is a plus.

Risk management skills including but not limited to electricity, work@height, change management, work permit, hazards management, risk assessment.
EIA management including but not limited to emission, discharge, noise, earth protection etc. 
Industrial buildings and equipment (overhead cranes, industrial doors…) 
Familiar with ISO 14001 standards and experienced on establishment.
Experience in facility management is a plus including but not limited to HVAC, AHU, generator, building, BMS, CA (compressed air), lighting, H/L voltage, natural gas, water, construction, decoration etc.
