Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an experienced

Senior Software Architect (d/f/m) 

for advanced software system development.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Development of web-based highly reactive user interfaces as key component in all end user domains

• Engineering of data management, data analysis and data processing components

• Conception and development of Microservice architectures for continuously deployed systems and define and support the test and integration phases

• Architect and implement solutions based on state of the art principals and processes

• Define and implement technical security concepts for new software systems

• Present the technical solutions to external and internal stakeholders

• Agile realization of the requirements within a small development team

Desired skills and qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable

• High expertise in design and development of software systems based on technologies and principles like Continuous Integration, DevOps chain, cloud based development, microservices based software architectures and reactive user interfaces

• Very good knowledge in Kubernetes and cloud architectures like MS Azure

• Proven expertise in user interface and data access technologies like usage of RESTful Webservices, HTML5/CSS, web UI interfaces and frameworks (React, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript), JSON and WebSockets

• Ability to design and implement data processing and transformation services based on different products like MS/SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.

• Profound experience in Continuous Integration, Deployment and Delivery (incl. GIT, Maven etc.)

• Good communication skills and flexibility

• Fluent in German and English
