What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2024, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.


Internship Description:

An internal benchmark to drive and enable the achievement of business excellence through the application of the fundamentals of business improvement, based on lean and right-first-time principles, and associated methods and approaches, such as operational systems/Lean, problem solving and quality standards.


Develops and contributes to the evolution and maintenance of the improvement benchmark, and leads the transfer and training of improvement concepts, principles, tools and techniques, and the development of autonomy/competence in the business.

This work will bring the applicant a view of the current challenges of the plant in terms of the deployment and improvement of our Operating system. The internship will be done in the Plant Production Support Department, in the AOS (Airbus Operating System) area. 

Taking advantage of the digital solutions in order to improve our overall production system is one of the main challenges in Airbus. In this scope, the applicant will bring to support to the AOS leader on the main tasks:

- Support the deployment and maintenance of the different solutions used in our operating system.

- Support the development and deployment of local tools based on Google environment for standing our routines in the fields of Safety, Costs and Delivery.

Your Profile:

- Recently graduates/Master students

- Studies in engineering (aerospace, telecommunications, industrial, mechanical, chemical),

- English: negotiation level

- Spanish: negotiation level.

- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
