Services Integration Manager A400M

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel

LOCATION: Site (Typically 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote)

Our contract with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover on a 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft at home and overseas.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The job holder is accountable for:

  • Ensuring the transverse planning and execution of services including definition, planning and execution of incremental services.
  • Leading the preparation of the technical content of incremental services for support service offers and contracts under A400M Customer Services responsibility related to the UK (including contribution to multinational Global Support), supporting the objective of securing Business Case order intake targets for UK A400M services.
  • Representing business interests in any internal meetings needed in the context of establishing support arrangements (e.g. contracts, service level agreements) and managing services delivery, performance and resolution of in-service issues.

The jobholder will contribute to the planning and execution management of long-term and incremental A400M fleet support services, to sustain business within the following value:

  • The A400M Services Integration Manager acts as the primary link for communication between central and local organisations ensuring that each is aware of the operational priorities and demands of the other. The role also ensures that specific matters which fall outside of routine business are addressed with the appropriate level of attention. 
  • Lead projects requiring transverse collaboration inside and outside the ASC, to meet specific requirements and deliverables (e.g. campaigns, significant programmes of additional work).
  • Support the Services Programme Manager UK in business planning, budget and expenditure management, including preparation, negotiation and monitoring of UK A400M Services contribution to the Business Case, annual Operating Plan, Budget and Programme Target Letters
  • Proactively manage the flow-down of customer requirements to CoC’s, ensuring that new customer demands are received, understood and reviewed internally prior to agreement, and assisting in the development of Programme Directives, Convergence and OP Exercises.
  • This role is expected to function in an autonomous mode, taking end-to-end responsibility for delegated tasks and to deputise for the SPM during times of absence.

ABOUT YOU

  • MRO, Commercial or defence aerospace industry experience would be ideal however we are open to speaking to candidates outside of this remit with experience of managing complex projects and or- service deliveries
  • Project management and or Technical Engineering Service Delivery experience is crucial
  • A strong ability to critically review and challenge
