COMPLETE FUEL SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Bristol Area

Job Description:

We are looking for a Fuel Systems Engineer to join our Fuel Team, in Filton.

The role …

• With Airbus and Airbus PROTECT, support the development activities associated with the ATA28 Fuel system, subsystems and equipment.

• Support the Airbus ATA28 fuel team within Fuel Control & Indication Systems perimeter.

• Work with other ATA28 Engineers and signatories along with interfaces such as Fuel systems interfaces, Certification specialists, Procurement and Vendors.

• Support Airbus Commercial ATA28 System activities, including system development and plan reviews required within the Statement of Work (SoW), supplier engagement and stakeholder management. 

• Assess new functionality to systems, new and modified requirements to the system, and cascade them to suppliers. 

• Support phase reviews and Validation and Verification activities.

Are you the one ?

Experience required:

• At least 3-5 years of overall Engineering experience, preferably in Aerospace / Aviation.

• Experience with supporting Fuel System design activities within Control & Indication perimeter.

• Experience on Sustainable Aviation Fuels would be beneficial.

• Experience of requirement management, including use of DOORS is desirable.

• Track record of leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and staff members, with delivery to Time, Cost and Quality.

• Strong ability lead and manage a project team

• Customer centric and able to build relationships in a matrix environment

• You have very good communication and negotiation skills

• You are autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, with great attention to detail

• Team player, keen to share their knowledge and work collaboratively within a fairly small team

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
