In order to support our diverse team based in France and Germany, Airbus Commercial is looking for a Digital Senior Architect (d/f/m) within the Information Management organization delivering digital solutions for the Quality business function.  

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

• You will act as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and you will validate product designs

• You will collaborate with other architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies

• You will define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions.

• You will participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.

• You will align architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning for the organization's information systems

• You will perform the technical/ functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design

• You will provide an expertise on business processes, change management transformation, function improvement and technology enablement 

Desired skills and qualifications

• You hold a degree in information technology or a similar field or bring a comparable qualification combined with several years of experience in SAP architecture and solution design

• You bring deep knowledge in various SAP modules and their integration points

• You have a proven track record of designing and implementing SAP (QM, PEO or S/4 HANA)  in large-scale environments

• You have a collaborative mindset and bring strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making abilities

Business Travels

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly within Europe (mainly to Toulouse). Current estimation is once every two weeks.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
