Job Description:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

A VIE for Sustainability in Regional Procurement Office (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Bienjing,China. You will join the Flyable Procurement team
IMPORTANT

Contract duration: 24 months, starting date: 01/06/2024
This date is subject to flexibility due to country constraints and the health context related to COVID-19.
You will be part of Flyable procurement in Airbus Regional Procurement Office China and you will be responsible for delivering an End to End view of the carbon footprint emissions from the Airbus supply Chain, including Airbus’ industrial sites, offices and Airbus’ suppliers.
You will be also responsible to deliver a set of concrete objectives and actions to be deployed in the mid-term by Airbus and its supply chain to drastically reduce its carbon footprint.
Tasks & accountabilities
Deliver a complete overview of the Airbus China industrial footprint
Defines KPI that will be used for the measurement of the carbon footprint of the supply chain
Aligns with Airbus High5+ project team in defining objectives
Benchmarks practices in different industries, in China but also elsewhere
In association with the elements above, she/he delivers an analysis of the carbon footprint of the complete supply chain, including an analysis of the criticality & complexity to resolve each finding
Provides concrete, realistic & ambitious actions associated with findings in order to drastically reduce the carbon footprint within Airbus and its supply chain, including contractual leverages, KPIs and action owners.
Seeks alignment with Airbus’ headquarters and Sustainability teams on the findings and associated proposed actions
Required skills
Graduate to a 5-yrs degree (Master)
Procurement and business knowledge, and some experience in aeronautics is also welcome.
Experience in working in a multi-functional environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Sustainability knowledge, especially carbon footprint calculation is appreciated.
Good level in English, other languages would be an asset
