Job Description:

Role: Project Manager – Workday India Rollout & CSOD PO

Description:

The Project Manager is part of the Information Management (IM) function EDS team located in India. He/she is responsible for the CSOD product and Workday full roll out in India and in addition supports the building of the Product Strategy for EDS team in India. Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams.

The successful candidate will establish team goals by understanding the business strategy, identify and evaluate business & technical trends and choose a course of action to achieve the same. He/she will accomplish the team results/performance by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching and leading the team in the right direction.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Engineering graduate/post-graduate with 10-13 years of total experience in developing, delivering and managing IT solutions. 

    • 5-6 years of Project/Product Delivery experience - Demonstrated experience in Project Delivery Leadership for a team of 10+ members on HR Digital perimeter OR any other relevant technology

    • 5-6 years of People, Capacity, Business and Resource Management experience 

    • 2-4 years of Business Process Analysis

    • 2-4 years of Subcontractor Management experience 

    • Ability to work with a range of technical staff to develop joint solutions

    • Able to work with International teams. 

  • Technology-related experience:

    • Knowledge / Experience in working on Workday modules - development / configuration / business analysis / project management, etc.

    • Experience/knowledge of Cornerstone On-Demand tool

    • Demonstrated capabilities to define and drum-beat Delivery Quality guidelines and resolve issues on Delivery Quality

  • High level of energy, strong drive & ability to adjust to changing priorities and making quick decisions with limited information are essential attributes in this role

  • Experience working with Agile/ SAFe project methodologies 

  • Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders transnationally

  • Strong organizational, communication & customer service skills

  • Able to do Scope estimation, planning, time management, scheduling, project costing and budget management.

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Focus on problem solving and service restoration

  • Ability to engage and motivate people in large teams

  • Good customer focus and proactive stakeholder management

  • PMP / ITIL Certifications (good to have)






 

Responsibilities:

  • Hold the full responsibility to lead the Delivery of CSOD  and India Full Rollout Team in the right direction to achieve success.

  • Support the development and implementation of Product strategy for DMH team in India

  • Facilitate problem-solving among administrative groups with varying needs and priorities, and to communicate well with administrative users, technical staff, and senior management

  • Takes proactive action to ensure stable and secure applications and IT infrastructure to avoid potential service disruptions, attending to capacity planning and to information security.

  • Define and organize Operational Follow-ups with the business stakeholders to track and follow through the various operational topics for the team

  • Support strongly the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members

  • Provide technical direction, develop and implement procedures and procure tools pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the service delivery team.

  • Monitor overall performance of services and timelines.

  • Prepare, maintain and analyze service reports to address any possible delays/issues before it occurs.

  • Identify and Distribute KPI/service reports weekly/monthly to key internal stakeholders and alert any potential issues.

  • Ability to communicate across the team regardless of organizational boundaries to achieve the goal.

  • Escalate on time and propose mitigation/corrective action if service / project delivery is not meeting expectations.

  • Develop, improve and implement processes with stakeholder agreement to ensure effective information flow to speed up the delivery timelines

  • Ensure the availability of the team with proper backup plan to support the agreed service window

  • Investigate customer concerns about service./ project, timeliness and quality. 

  • Oversee training and development of service delivery team
