COMPLETE Functional Analyst - Bangalore Area

Job Description:

As a SAP PP specialist, the candidate should have a good functional knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP modules. SAP Production Planning is one of the key modules at IM product “Production Planning”. It deals with planning processes, such as capacity planning, material planning, execution of production order, bill of material and goods movement. The relevant solution capabilities for the product are

- Master Planning

- Demand Management  & Long Term planning

- Capacity Planning 

- Material Requirements Planning 

- APO/PPDS - Detailed scheduling

 He/she should be very familiar with the Manufacturing processes. He/She should be comfortable with components of SAP PP such as BOM ( PP-BD-BOM), Production version, Work Center,Routings ,Production Planning Cycle & the concerned dataset ( table structure).

The Candidate should have a good functional knowledge in standard PPDS modules and should be responsible for providing Leadership,  Analyse business requirements, design, implement and deploy SAP S4Hana MPS solutions to achieve defined business goals. Must work with an in house Business team to understand the requirements, follow the standards and governance to deliver the task in a timely manner. Must be self-sufficient to adopt new Enterprise SAP Platforms.

The Candidate should have at least one End to End Implementation project including Solution design, in Production planning and detailed Scheduling (PPDS) having overview knowledge of all integrated topics related to Production planning.

The Candidate should have good knowledge on S4Hana PPDS, Optimizer, Heuristics, CIF, planning, Scheduling, Transportation Lanes, Hierarchies and Exposure to various PPDS customizations.

The candidate should have experience working in Project and Application Support Services in an end-user facing position, and he/she should be familiar with Incident Management and Problem Management along with an understanding of Business priority and criticality. He/she should have also worked on Change Management processes. 

The concerned domain is Aircraft Manufacturing and production. The candidate, if selected, will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.

SAP S/4 HANA certification (v1709 or higher) is preferred. IBP experience would be an added advantage

Domain experience in manufacturing industry would be an advantage

Qualification & Experience: 

Graduate with 7+ years of experience in SAP PP.

Minimum 3 year of experience in Support or customer service.

Minimum 2 Greenfield Implementation experience

Skills in manufacturing processes and ability to decide on MRP run

Good Experience in Team Leading Capabilities in Application support and Project

Should be good in Performance Analysis, Data Mining and Process Mining

Good problem solving and analytical skills

Customer facing skill. Worked with European customers 

Responsibilities

• He/She will be responsible for all the allocation of all Features/User Stories being deployed in SAP Planning Area. Ability to work and plan work independently and manage workload of the team.

• He/She needs to have Design thinking Skills and would need to design or configure a product keeping business interests in Priority.

• Provide best in class level of service to Airbus internal customers.  He/she will be working on SAP Planning project activities and provide support in implementation of PP/DS,  deployment, etc.

• Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus application portfolio

• Perform deep root cause analysis and performance improvement

• Identify and propose service improvement 

• Provide expertise support to the full chain of support

• Train support team members
