Job Description:

Customer Services Digital Solutions is responsible for the delivery of Digital Solutions on Customer Services perimeter, internally for teams within Customer Services and externally to airlines, MROs and lessors. Example of solutions are Airman Web and Skywise Health Monitoring for aircraft diagnostic, PRM and Skywise Predictive Maintenance for predictive maintenance, Schedule Maintenance Optimizer (SMO) for heavy maintenance optimisation, 3D Repair for aircraft structural repair maintenance, aircraft ground connectivity solutions for A320 & A330 with FOMAX and A350, A380 as well as airline IT connectivity, e-Doc Browser and Airnav suite for documentation, Skywise Reliability Services for airlines to compare themselves to the rest of the fleet…

Growth & Innovation is in charge of identifying, designing and delivering new services, thus breaking new grounds and exploring novel markets for Customer Services Digital Solutions. The objective of the developments is to reach Minimum Viable Products, deployed within the infrastructure of Airbus Digital Solutions, so they can be tested and used by Early Adopters within agreed limitations.

The role of this position is to support the Growth & Innovation application development teams, by preparing the relevant environment(s), setting up DevOps, deploying components, means and applications, thus enabling readiness of the Growth & Innovation applications.

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 4-8 years of development experience

• Proven track record as cloud-ready application developer, acting across the entire development lifecycle.

• Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects. - Good to have (Not mandatory)

• Operating system experience should include Windows and Unix

• Strong coding abilities using Python, Java, Javascript, Bash, etc.

• Knowledge in rich web application development with React, Angular, HTML5...

• DevOps orientation, knowledge of designing continuous integration workflow and implementing it with the following products/tools: Docker, Artifactory, GIT, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Splunk, Serverless, CloudFormation, SAM, etc.

• Strong experience in deploying (Blue/Green deployment) application in various OS

• Strong experience in test automation and test-driven development methods.

• Knowledge of Aircraft maintenance & engineering would be a plus

• Advanced level of English

• French knowledge will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, testing, documenting, publishing, supporting and operating software/web applications Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional testing, security testing, load and performance testing Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production Coaching, mentoring and enabling other developers
