Airbus is looking for a Cloud Specialist to join in Bangalore, India, to design IS/IT Architectures, support feasibility studies & services on Cloud for Scientific Computing.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate with 5.5-8 years of experience in Cloud Platform development.

• 4-6 years of experience with Linux system administration.

• Strong experience with AWS Enterprise Cloud platform deployments at scale.

• Coding abilities in Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, bash, or JavaScript.

• Mastering of any of cloud orchestration technology (CloudFormation, Terraform, libcloud, Spinnaker)

• Strong understanding of networking, systems architecture, and micro-services architecture.

• Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices.

• Knowledge in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Saltstack, etc..).

• Experience in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenShift) .

• Experience with application orchestration and packaging (Jenkins, Bamboo, Packer, Artifactory, Nexus).

• Working knowledge in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects.

• Understanding of following technologies/concepts  would be desirable: HPC ecosystems (Resource scheduling), AWS parallel cluster & Engineframe or equivalent hyperscaler solutions.

• Knowledge of other Cloud Service Providers like Azure, GCP would be an added advantage

• Knowledge of the French language would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Support feasibility studies to extend existing legacy applications to AWS cloud

• Scalability Benchmarking of Scientific Computing Applications (Costs/Performance)

• Support feasibility studies for state of the art compute processors (ARM,GPU etc)

• Design and implement the automated infrastructure of the Airbus Public Cloud Platforms via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services

• Implement container solutions taking into account IT security aspects

• Support problem solving and the operational availability  of the applications on Airbus Public Cloud Platform

• Optimize resources utilization while guaranteeing applications performance and reliability

• Own incidents, problems, changes related to the Cloud Services.

• Work in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development

• This role will involve some travel for business from time to time and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
