Job Description:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.
A VIE for Flight Operations Business Support Manager a has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Bangkog.
This role is in support of the Head of Flight Operations Customer Intimacy and the Flight Operations Support Director (FOSD) from Airbus, Customer Success Manager (CSM) from NAVBLUE in Bangkok - Thailand, with the main objective of supporting the customer among the APAC region to operate the Airbus aircraft safely and efficiently.
Flight Operations Customer Intimacy is providing additional support to our Customers on matters relating to flight operations and training and to deliver that support on an individual basis. Its activities are fully integrated in the Customer Support & Services organization of Airbus Commercial and its affiliate NAVBLUE.
Satisfying and fulfilling the customer faces organizational and operational challenges. The selected VIE candidate will learn and develop himself/herself in the following fields:
Airbus flight operations and training
Airbus safety management system
NAVBLUE products and support
The governance of an Airbus affiliate and its integration into the mother company in terms of processes and standards
Defining and standardizing best practices, including project management
General management.
In the 24 months missions:
The VIE candidate will be in charge of the following activities:
Follow-up of the operations and optimisation of performance indicators (KPIs)
Support the integration of the Flight Operations Customer Intimacy activities in the AIRBUS SAS and NAVBLUE SAS quality system
Review of the customer satisfaction: Collect feedback and propose improvements
Optimisation of management and operational review meetings in terms of objectives, agenda, frequency, participants, etc.
Support the preparation of regular reporting to AFOS management and functional management in Airbus SAS and NAVBLUE SAS.
Support the preparation of the strategy and business plan for the future development
Support the Head of Flight Operations Customer Intimacy in the preparation of the management meetings and other steering committees
Management of other transverse projects.
You are the person we are looking for:
Education:
Master in (aerospace) engineering or Master in Business Management / Administration.
Technical skills :
Advanced skills with Google Suite applications or equivalent
Data analysis and creation of dashboards
Project Management
Knowledge of and experience with Airbus quality processes is preferred
Knowledge of and experience with Airbus tools is preferred.
General Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Critical thinking and challenge the status quo
Cultural awareness and ability to adapt
Ability to work in a fast changing environment
Multi-tasking skills.
Languages :
English: Fluent
