Job Description:

A. Accountabilities
● To work as Airbus China COO business partner, ensuring financial performance of ACEMS and
other entities under Airbus China COO responsibility (ABEC, ATDC, AFTFAC, HMC ...);
● To ensure efficient Planning & Reporting and Internal Control for those entities, aligned with
Airbus China and Airbus HQ standards and timelines;
● To provide finance support to transformation initiatives initiated / led by CEO or COO (efficiency
2025, SA ramp-up, WB adaptation, FAL2, benchmark ...):
● To lead Operations Controlling team deploying best practices (methodology, tools), instilling
performance management mindset, accountability and supporting preparedness of local talents.

B. Main activities
● Financial Forecast and Planning
⮚ Prepare the annual planning and forecast of P&L (revenues, opex, capex, ebit), cash and
headcount of the various entities, ensuring a fairly challenging and well socialized
convergence with the various stakeholders (budget owners, management, programmes and
functions);
⮚ Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on performance against budgets/targets,
highlighting risks & opportunities and proactively proposing mitigation actions;
⮚ Ensure P&L competitiveness, adequate cash management and robust B/S for the relevant
entities;
⮚ Ensure alignment with Airbus China and Programmes roadmaps.
● Financial Performance management
⮚ Ensure preparation of management reports (including AR aging, inventory reconciliation
and cash report) on time, on cost and on quality. Ensure one source of truth and alignment
of methodologies across China entities;
⮚ Support efficiency initiatives and adherence to UCOS/margin ambitions. Benchmark Airbus
China Operations performance with other equivalent entities;
⮚ Ensure cost base adaptation to production planning and optimized production capacity
utilization in cooperation with the business team;
⮚ Ensure business performance and adherence to targets.
● Business Partnering
⮚ Support and challenge business partners in terms of financial and operational performance.
Fully support business in key changes decisions (business cases, executive leadership
meeting, FAL2 project...);
⮚ Support business decisions with actionable scenarios;
⮚ Take an active role in the operations leadership team, providing insights from the Finance
side; be the sparring partner of choice.
● Ensure state of the art Internal Control Implementation
● Contribute to Financial Systems deployment (IFRP, SAC ...) proactively promoting convergence with
Airbus HQ standards
● Actively contribute to the development of Finance talents in China

C. Outputs
● OP / Forecast / reporting
● Active role in ACF and ACO leadership teams
● Competitiveness ambition and convergence to it
● Compliance and internal control


D. Input
● >7 years of professional experience in Finance, with focus on controlling
● Solid understanding of Airbus Commercial programmes and operations
● Ability to communicate, cooperate and coordinate effectively with people in different functions /
programmes / entities, at all levels
● Experience in preparing and presenting financial communications to executive stakeholders
(programme, functions, management)
● Experience in SAP / IFRP financial systems
● Proven integrity and team player mindset
● Willingness to develop self and team leadership.
● Proficiency in English.
