COMPLETE Business Analyst and Application Architect - Beijing Area

Job Description:

Airbus SLC is now looking for a Business Analyst and Application Architect to join our team in the Beijing office. In this position you will work in partnership with our clients to ensure the right fit between markets’ / clients’ needs and Airbus solutions including application integration and interfacing solutions. This is a key position to develop Airbus associated Next Generation business in creating value propositions for our customers. . In addition, you also need to have capability to promote the full range of SLC Products, Solutions and Services portfolio, understanding the end users hot buttons, operational procedures and use cases, and assessing the evolution of customers’ missions.

Primary tasks & responsibilities:

● Interacts with client peers to understand their daily work, the way to digitalize
their current way of working, the existing Application environment and their IT
and business environment, challenges and strengths.
● Defines with the customers and position the best digital solution around Agnet and Situation Awareness solutions to meet their operational needs and
optimize their mission management.
● Understands current technology, standard Airbus’ customer environment,
cloud computing, and shared services, and advice clients on leading practices.
● Defines the integration needs between our applications (e.g. Agnet) and the
customer’s environment (applications, IT, security).
● Influences the Agnet, Critical Communication Platform and Situation
awareness roadmap to take into account the customer needs by writing use
cases and user stories.
● Organizes associated marketing activities and follow up.
● Participates to commercial milestones (customer presentation and demo,
offers, integration negotiation).

Secondary tasks & responsibilities:

● Work in closed cooperation with Key Account managers to define sales strategy
● Collect and understand customer / end-users requirements
● Educate and promote SLC products portfolio and customers services values
and USPs(Unique Selling Points), against best-selling products, solutions and
services from main competition
● Adapt and shape presentation content according to customer audience,
customer expectations and SLC strategy
● Provide customers with solution options via technical whitepapers,
presentations, and workshops, to illustrate SLC solutions assets and
operational benefits, and convince customers / partners to choose SLC
products
● Shape coming RFP according to SLC portfolio assets and USP and services
capabilities

Qualifications:

Competences (with at least 5 years experience):
• Demonstrates understanding of customer processes & environment as well as of the detailed use cases of the end users.
• Demonstrates understanding of business processes and familiar with creative business strategy, assessments (i.e. feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments).
• Has a strong business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal as
well as written communication skills.
• Has experiences in different IT environments, including SaaS environment.
• Knows the software development practice, concepts/methodologies (i.e.
Waterfall, Agile, Iterative), and technology.
• Knows the business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across
the project lifecycle.
• Has a sound understanding of IT security &associated tools
• Commercial capacity (demo, Proof of Concept, support sales strategy,..).

Technologies/Tools knowledge:
● Knows application ecosystem and associated integration world.
● Knows techniques such as assessing and planning IT capabilities, IT cost and performance management, applications solutions architecture, portfolio,
program and project management and transformational change.

Skills and Education:

Education &Personal Skills:
● M.Sc. Engineering in IT or telecommunication.

● Complementary commercial / sales education is an advantage.
● Strong customer orientation, good customer relationship management.
● Strong team player.
● Able to frequent travel.
● Has a strong business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and
written communication skills.
● Fluent in Chinese and English.

Experience:
● At least 5 years experience in Telecommunication systems including Radio
communication systems and / or applications sales. Experiences in
Professional Mobile Radio systems/digtial trunking system and / or in IP
technology is an advantage.
● Experience in Telecommunication system architecture and application
system integration.
● Technical Sales and / or commercial support experience.
● Experience in governmental sector/ or Mobile Policing/ smart cities market
considered as plus.
