COMPLETE HO Warehouse Operations - Beijing Area

Job Description:

Accountabilities

• The jobholder steers the daily operation of the Warehouse and Logistics Activities of the Hua-Ou Support Company, to meet commitments, customer requirements and expectations and maintains the highest standards of operation through timely communication with all partners and stakeholders (Satair, Hua-Ou, COF, Warehouse and Customers).

• The jobholder trains and manages the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

• The jobholder provides reports for Hua-Ou Management and Satair group, and prepare all necessary KPIs to the management for appropriate decision making. The Jobholder support Audits and delivers Reporting, as well as subsequent corrective actions follow-up.

• The jobholder seeks for opportunities with Satair Group and other worldwide Airbus Warehouses to identifies, evaluates and implements new way of working and processes to increase productivity and improve performance, to support the growth of Airbus Fleet for Chinese Customers and the footprint of Hua-Ou Support Company in the warehouse business in China 

• The jobholder is empowered as project manager for the Hua-Ou Support Company to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and new tools, and roll out toward all team members of storekeepers and customs team. The Jobholder interfaces closely with Hua-Ou Management to propose improvement, and to provide advices for decision making. 

• The jobholder maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following Airbus/Satair global requirments, establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations and policies.

Main activities

• Steer Daily Operation of the Warehouse for Inbound, Outbound and Custom Processes. Ensure Timely and cost-efficient operation, and keep minimum backlog

• Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency

• Set-up, maintain and deliver appropriate KPIs to Hua-Ou Management. Deliver Weekly indicators and Monthly Reports. Participate to Monthly Business Reviews with Satair Management.
  Propose correctives actions to Hua-Ou Management and follow-up on management decisions. 

• Project Manage the implementation of new process and new tools in the Hua-Ou Support Company. Proposes new process and associated implementation plan, look for cost-efficient changes, report on deviation and benchmark with other Airbus Warehouse. 

• Develop and maintain business relations with partners/stakeholders for Warehouse and Logistics services 

• Seek and gather advises with Airbus Warehouse Worldwide and benchmark ways-of-working Interact closely with Satair group to challenge planning and inventory, and proposes new business stream to secure the growth and sustainability. 

• Support Audit (Internal and External) and closing of findings. Reports report any/all discrepancies related to nonconformities, classifications, invoicing, and any deviation to known procedure and state-of-the-art operations. 

• Foster team members to ensure a sustainable organization

Qualifications 

• Bachelor degree in logistic or supply chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least 5 years warehouse management experience, proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies, preferably from aviation industry

• Associate’s Degree or additional education and experience in Warehouse Management, Logistics Management or a related field is highly desirable

• Foreign language: English mandatory; (German or French) a plus

• License/Certifications: Forklift, ILT, Freight Forwarding related Certifications a plus

Ability 

• Strong leadership skill on the shopfloor employees

• Good stakeholder management 

• Demonstrate clear and concise verbal, written and presentation skills

• Team player, able to multi-task

• Demonstrable negotiation skills

• Proficiency computer, SAP skills

Other information 

• Travel Required: 5% both Domestic and International

• Eligibility: Authorized to work in Beijing
