Purpose

Leading the Immunology and Rare Diseases Business Unit, building the commercial capabilities and strategies that lead to the strong performance of current assets as well as successful launch and future growth of future pipeline products.

This role is the single point of accountability for the creating of market driven Therapeutic Area and product strategies, target market segments that can provide CSLB Iberia differentiated competitive advantage and its fully responsible for the flawless execution of the strategy on both territories as defined during the Iberia Strategic Business Plan.

You will manage a team of Marketing and Sales professionals and work closely with cross functional teams (medical, market access, finance etc) as well as EU and global colleagues to drive operational excellence and deliver the strategic plan.

As a senior business leader, you will sit on the CSL Behring Iberia Leadership team. You will also be a senior representative for the Company with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the brand vision, strategy, positioning and strategic imperatives of the respective Therapeutic Area as well as the necessary sales and marketing activities required to achieve financial objectives and align company resources. Ensuring cross-functional alignment with Market Access and Medical Affairs across Spain and Portugal. Ensure alignment with EU TA/brand Strategies
  • Developing and implementing annual National, and Territorial Sales Plan and Key Account Plans for its Therapeutic Area in line with the Product Marketing Strategy. Providing monthly and quarterly sales performance updates, revisions as well as modifications to the plan when necessary. Develop sales incentive schemes aligned with portfolio strategy
  • Develop and direct revenue forecasting activities for the pipeline of opportunities in their respective Therapeutic Area Team as well as managing portfolio and product lifecycle. Support demand Planning in rolling forecast ensuring proper accuracy. OPEX Management to fulfill budgeted revenues
  • Management of Tender Strategy within your TA. With Market Access and Finance Team develop pricing options based on market trends, payer insights and impact on sales/profitability.
  • Effectively establishing relationships and interact with key physicians and KOL's, Hospital Pharmacists and other key Hospital stakeholders within your TA
  • Manage all Human Resource across the assigned Therapeutic Area team including development, discipline, reward (Incentive Plans), recruitment, appraisal, setting standards and ensuring any problems arising are resolved.Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy. You ensure individual and team compliance with the FI Code of Practice as well as all CSL Behring Iberia and global SOPs, policies, and quality system requirements as appropriate to the position.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in a health-related discipline. MBA, health economics or MA training highly preferred.
  • Significant (+10 years ) sales and marketing experience gained within pharmaceutical / biotech industry
  • Strong Commercial acumen in Hospital markets
  • Product launch experience with proven success
  • Demonstrable team leadership experience. Proven track record in People´s management as well as cross functional Teams
  • Strong understanding of regional market access needs / stakeholders and the complexity of regional health matters
  • Ability to build new relationships rapidly with key stakeholders
  • Experience of P&L management with an understanding of revenue forecasting and expense budget planning and tracking
  • Experience RRDDs - desirable
  • Experience in tender markets - desirable
