COMPLETE Medical Affairs Manager - Respiratory OR Immunology - EMEA, DE, Hattersheim, CSL Behring

You will serve as medical expert and contribute to the German strategic brand plan(s) within the assigned area of responsibility. You will develop, facilitate, and implement the Medical Affairs strategies and tactics of CSL Behring's Medical Affairs department in the respective therapeutic area. Develops and implements local strategy for scientific interactions with the medical community including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups (in close collaboration with the local Patient Advocacy Manager). Supports coordination of investigator-initiated studies and research collaborations at the national level (in close collaboration with the local RWE generation manager).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing the medical affairs strategy for assigned portfolio in alignment with overall therapeutic area objectives
• Monitors and evaluates therapeutic trends and opportunities in cooperation with local functions, global research & development as well as regional commercial organizations.
• Develops and implements strategy for scientific interactions with the medical community including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups (for PAGs in alignment and close collaboration with the local patient advocacy lead) and ensures its tactical execution.
• Supports coordination of investigator led studies and research collaborations. Facilitate publication of results in full accordance with Good Publication Practice.
• In close collaboration with the local Real-World Evidence generation lead: Supports development and implementation of company-sponsored non-interventional studies as well as subsequent analysis and publication of (interim) study results.
• Serves as medical consultant to marketing, market access, commercial and research project teams, providing input into promotional and educational materials for relevant therapeutic areas
• Establishes annual medical affairs budgets for assigned portfolio and actively manages & monitors periodic financial medical affairs forecasts
• Work closely with EU Medical Affairs, Global TA Medical Affairs, and global Research & Development to coordinate and successfully implement local medical affairs activities.
• Assume the role and responsibilities as "Informationsbeauftragter" (as per local law: AMG §74a) for CSL Behring with regards to promotional material and scientific information.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent)
• Preferably 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Prior experience in providing medical support to products or devices in one of CSL's therapeutic areas, including KOL development, investigator-initiated clinical trials, publications, and educational programs highly preferred.
• Prior clinical experience highly desirable
• Experience in working in international or global teams
• Strong Medical Affairs background
• Language skills: Fluent in German (required), fluent in English (required)
• Willingness to travel on business (required)
