Your Role

The Manager, Product Costing sits within a newly formed Product Cost Hub, focused on developing the most efficient, fit for purpose, next generation automated product cost process.

You will focus on understanding and analysing product manufacturing process and materials, to calculate the cost of our important life saving products.

Your Responsibilities

As part of a global team, reporting to the Associate Director, Product Cost Hub, you will:

• Collaborate with the Site Finance Partner team to develop a value adding product cost function
• Analyse yield or other product costing inputs required for budget
• Calculate manufacturing variances for all planning cycles including annual revaluation of standard costs
• Provide commentary of drivers of manufacturing variances to Site Finance Business Partners for communication with the Site Leadership Team
• Support preparation of product cost master data (Bill of Materials (BOM) / recipes) and collaborate with MDG team
• Improve product cost automation efforts, in collaboration with our COE and Analytics team
• Complete analyses of costing results and resolve costing run errors
• Contribute to the develop of product cost analytics, to improve process and product cost insights
• Work with master data governance team to refine process and improve accuracy of product costing efforts
• Complete data requests, analyses, and commentary for Tax to meet their deadlines.

Your Experience

• CA/CPA Qualified
• A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• At least 8 years experience in complex costing, planning and forecasting in manufacturing or related industries
• SAP S4/BPC and MS Office package experienced
• Experience dealing with Transfer price would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Strategic thinking, good commercial and business acumen, ability to successfully develop business relationships
