CSL Behring SpA is looking  for a Head of Marketing , reporting directly to the General Manager of the Italian subsidiary.

The Head of Marketing  is responsible for all the Marketing activities related to CSL Behring portfolio in Italy.  You will promote the local market development, the image of the Company and its products

Develop Local Marketing Strategies and define key priorities. You will be Member of the Business Team and part of the Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and propose to the General Manager and the Business Team the Local Strategic Marketing Plans in order to ensure that profit and market shares are achieved.
  • Elaborate in strict co-operation with Business Team and General Manager the commercial budget and implements effective actions for products and clients.
  • Analyze annually the impact of the Marketing actions concerning scientific promotion and advertising
  • You elaborate the local Company Communication promoting the image of CSL Behring – both internally and externally.
  • Elaborate sales performance indicators (by product, actual sales vs budget etc.).
  • Analyzes the sales performance indicators and developing Marketing proposals to increase sales effectiveness.
  • Attend to National and International Congresses.
  • Ensure proper collection of data from field (doctors, hospitals and competitors).
  • Ensure proper analysis of market prices and commercial key factors.
  • Manage the assigned Marketing Team

Ideal candidate  Professional  profile:

  • Matrix team experience with opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Exposure to regional marketing and commercial management.
  • Involvement in region-wide (Region EUROPE) commercial projects.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical business.
  • Business acumen/analysis (short and mid-term Economic Indicators, Market Intelligence, Key Marketplace Factors).
  • Business Strategy (unstable market, product lunch, strategic planning and implementation)
  • Inter-personal skills and capability to build collaborative relationships at high level both outside and inside the Company.
  • Good knowledge of best-in-class scientific communication and promotion approaches.
  • Possess understanding of government and industry guidelines, regulations, laws, etc., for appropriate promotion activities  with customers

Ideal candidate Managerial profile:

  • High level of written and verbal Communication skills (effective business presentation, official documents, public speeches).
  • Networking skills
  • Effective Public Speaker and ability to set solid peer relationships with exposure to scientific and clinical experts, with a demonstrated ability to engage internal and external leaders.
  • Skilled in working in cross-functional teams
  • High level of written and verbal Communication skills (effective business presentation, official documents, public speeches).
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external experts within TAs ( knowledge of Coagulation and Immunology are preferred)
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-pace and evolving environment
  • Advanced People Management and Team Leadership Skills

Education and Experience:

  • University degree (Science or Medical studies).
  • MBA, Marketing or Commercial expertise would be an advantage.
  • Advanced doctoral degrees, PhD,  are positively evaluated   Relevant pharmaceutical or related industry experience (5+ years)
  • Experience in Marketing within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry 
  • Experience in Coagulation and or Immunology are preferred.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Italian, both oral and written.
  • Work and life experience abroad are preferred.

Offer & Working Conditions/Benefits:

  • Location: Milan  : 25% Office based position - 75% smartworking and business travels.
  • Travel: Up to approximately 25% travel required in Italy, Europe and Global.
