Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst provides support for operational performance metrics, reports, dashboards and item master related activities. The primary function of the Supply Chain Analyst is to support the organization by creating and maintaining clean, accurate, standardized and complete supply chain master data and electronic health record data to support timely and efficient 24/7 operations which include requisitioning, procurement, delivery, payment and charging of product.

This position will be directly supporting the brand new system-wide Procedure Card Management Program (PCMP), uniquely reporting up through the Value Analysis department. This program drives operational efficiencies and data insights that guide the maintenance of surgical procedure cards in Epic through collaborations with clinicians, surgical services, and supply chain teams.

The PCMP team drives the reduction of waste of surgical supplies and improves workflows for supply chain and operating room teams across the system. This role may provide occasional on-site support which may be needed at any of the three regions across Corewell Health as the team establishes presence and processes with the surgical facility-based teams.

The PCMP Analyst role will own the procedure card data entry activities across the three Corewell Health regions as pertains to the program scope, and will collaborate with region-specific teams as they share ownership over preference card maintenance. This role may collaborate with clinical teams to assist them in understanding preference card data to make informed product decisions, and will also collaborate with the broader Supply Chain team to develop and execute additional item master maintenance activities.
