Our team is responsible for creating the best delivery experience for transporters wherever they deliver packages using their favorite Android or iOS devices. As a Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide.

A day in the life
Our team forms the foundation of the Amazon Flex platform, supporting multiple feature teams and enabling hundreds of thousands of delivery partners worldwide. We pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, where knowledge sharing and architectural discussions are central to our workflow. The team's in-depth engineering practices and robust system design have resulted in excellent platform stability. We maintain efficient operations and well-structured on-call processes. Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of Apple platform development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
