Job Description
Do you enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful change? Are you ready to help lead projects that make a real impact across one of the world's most dynamic organisations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Amazon as a Project Management Degree Apprentice.
As a Project Management Apprentice, you'll help deliver real projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation across Amazon's diverse business lines - all while earning your fully funded BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. You'll work alongside experienced project professionals, using recognised methodologies and quality frameworks to bring ideas to life.
Throughout your apprenticeship you'll build a broad, adaptable skillset - stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control, and risk management - and grow from supporting projects to helping lead them. We move fast, fail fast, and fix faster, so you'll be encouraged to contribute ideas and take ownership early.
A day in the life can involve:
- Participating in planning sessions to align on project goals, milestones, and priorities
- Coordinating resources and timelines to keep deliverables on track
- Identifying risks early and collaborating on practical ways to mitigate them
- Tracking progress with data and reporting tools, and recommending improvements
- Presenting updates to stakeholders using dashboards, metrics, and reports
- Building relationships with colleagues and senior leaders across the business
- Supporting process improvement initiatives to simplify workflows and boost efficiency
- Learning directly from experienced project and programme managers through mentorship
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who bring curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for learning. You'll thrive here if you enjoy solving problems and juggling multiple priorities, communicate clearly with a range of people, and bring strong organisational and analytical skills - able to think strategically while staying on top of the day-to-day detail. You don't need previous project management experience; we're looking for motivated people eager to learn, grow, and make a difference.
Here at Amazon, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Within this apprenticeship you'll put newfound knowledge into practice every day, supported by first-class coaching, tailored development, and rewarding work that will empower you to reach new heights and build the future you envision.
You'll gain a vast range of experiences and skills while working towards the BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. As a working student, you'll spend 80% of your time working in your business area and 20% on dedicated study - developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to work towards successful graduation, with goals set by your training provider and manager to support you.
You'll build your skills over a 42-month period, starting in September 2027. Your apprenticeship will combine on-the-job learning at your Amazon base location with structured study, online learning, and mentoring from experienced team members.
