Job Description
Are you ready to dive into the fast-paced world of multi-channel marketing? Would you enjoy driving brand awareness and captivating customer engagement, using creativity, data, and strategic thinking to elevate marketing to new heights? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Amazon as a Marketing Apprentice.
As a Marketing Apprentice, you'll help create and deliver marketing campaigns across a range of platforms - from the first spark of an idea to the data that tells you whether it worked. Working alongside experienced marketers and creative teams, you'll see how a campaign comes together end to end and reaches customers at scale.
Throughout your apprenticeship you'll grow into a confident marketer who can turn an insight into an idea, an idea into content, and content into results - building both the creative and the analytical sides of the craft. We move fast, fail fast, and fix faster, so you'll be encouraged to test your ideas and learn from what the data tells you.
A day in the life can involve:
- Crafting compelling content for websites, social media, and email campaigns
- Analysing campaign performance and turning the numbers into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborating with creative teams and external partners to bring campaigns to life
- Researching emerging trends, technologies, and sustainability angles to inform product launches
- Helping manage marketing budgets and track return on investment
- Presenting ideas and plans back to the team
We're looking for people who are genuinely curious about marketing and have the communication skills to craft compelling content and present ideas with confidence. You'll bring a growth mindset - adaptable, open to feedback, and always looking to improve - along with a creative, collaborative spirit and a knack for turning data into impactful strategies. You don't need prior experience, just enthusiasm, a bias for action, and plenty of ideas.
Here at Amazon, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Within this apprenticeship you'll put newfound knowledge into practice every day, supported by first-class coaching, tailored development, and rewarding work that will empower you to reach new heights and build the future you envision.
You'll gain a vast range of experiences and skills while working towards the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship standard. As a working student, your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off-the-job time, developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You'll be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.
You'll build your skills over an 18-month period, starting in September. Your apprenticeship will combine classroom/virtual-based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning, and mentoring from our experienced team members.
We value different perspectives and experiences, and we're dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our employee-led affinity groups – including communities for women in tech, LGBTQ+ employees, and underrepresented minorities – provide community, mentorship, and a platform for your voice to be heard. We're committed to building a workforce that reflects the customers and communities we serve.
We're also continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth's Best Employer, so you'll have the resources and support to develop into a well-rounded professional.
Your career isn't a straight path – it's a journey you build as you go. A universe of opportunity awaits, and your next adventure starts here.
Please note: as part of your off-the-job learning, you may be required to travel to a training centre, which may differ from your primary work base. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel as part of the programme.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2027)
- Have the right to live and work in England at the point of enrolment (June 2027). If you are on a visa, this must enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme from enrolment.
