Machinist- 3rd Shift - $33.25/hr. + $1.50/hr. Shift Premium - Michigan, Kalamazoo 4100 East Milham Rd | Stryker Job

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday (in Sun/out Mon) 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, $33.25/hr + $1.50/hr shift premium

What You Will Do:

• Set up and perform frequent to regular tasks using standard procedures and various conventional and/or manual machine tools.
• Work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.
• Comply with and maintain documentation and records. 
• Determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications. 
• Assist maintenance personnel with routine maintenance.
• Train and develop others within the role.
• Collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker.

What You Need:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years related Machining experience required.
• Ability to set up and operate complex equipment while multitasking to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Use precision measuring equipment and GD&T principles to verify components meet engineering specifications and troubleshoot quality or inspection issues.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and perform physical requirements, including lifting or exerting force up to 50 pounds.
  

Preferred:

• Experience with DMG Mori NTX/NZX machines.
• Successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
• Successful completion of an accredited Machinist / Machine Tool Technology certificate program.
  

  

 

$33.25/hr. + $1.50/hr. Shift Premium plus bonus eligible and benefits.
