A400M MRO Network - Production Control at MAESE - Sevilla Area | Airbus Job

Job Description:

A vacancy for Production Control for A400M MRO Network has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla.  The successful applicant will join TASOS33 MAESE Resident Team department

This position is based full-time in Maestranza Aérea de Sevillia Military Base

(Seville-Spain), and as such you must be available to work full time onsite at this location.

Tasks & accountabilities

Accountabilities:

¤ Anticipate means&tooling needs before each event

¤ Launch material requests for all In Service events performed by the A400M MRO Network at MAESE

¤ Follow up and drumbeat material availability

¤ Anticipate and resolve any Custom clearance issues

¤ Ensure the right visibility of current and future events is provided to internal and external users

¤ Daily planning update with all information needed per event

¤ Stablish and secure internal means, including tooling calibration, shipments control, etc

¤ Prepare and manage minimum stock of items

¤ Control Consumables life limit

¤ KPIs control and reporting

Main activities:

- Master planning and daily meetings. Monitoring of the preparation status for each event in regard to material availability

- Ensure the right back up is provided through external support when needed (holidays, workload peaks, etc)

- Means and tooling clear inventory and availability per event

- Contribute to right management of means and material for every event- (including possible Schedule events -C checks-, Retrofits, etc)

- Clear Requested Delivery Date (RDD) and Expected Delivery Date (EDD) per event

Required skills:

• University degree in Engineering
• Advanced level of English
• Experience in Aircraft Maintenance
• String experience in MDS tool
• Knowledge of Lean and Process improvement methods
• Leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience on working in military environment and with direct contact with customer
