Job Description:

We are looking for a Competence & Learning Business Partner (senior level).

Responsibilities - your mission

The jobholder will be reporting functionally to the Ho Learning Airbus Portugal and operationally to Ho Operations Academy Procurement domain.

• Strong stakeholder management.
  • Act as focal point for Procurement domain for divisions (Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defense & Space), regions (US, Canada, China, etc) and subs (Airbus Atlantic, etc)

• Collection and analysis of business priorities and needs
  • Build a good understanding of the business, local needs and strategies
  • Identify and cascade future trends to domain focal points (Purchasing, Supply Chain and ordering, Scheduling, Logistics and Transport)
  • Act as key enabler of company priorities by influencing the organisations, leveraging action plans, pushing for collaboration cross divisionally, cross functionally and with all relevant stakeholders

• Jobs and competencies
  • Anticipate the impacts of global trends on jobs and competences
  • Align jobs and competencies management transversally
  • Anticipate necessary adaptation of employees’ competences, allowing a pipeline of appropriate competences in support of business strategy.
  • Provide the big picture by delivering a consistent view of competences required and related / corrective actions
  • Support domain focal points in managing jobs and competencies (mapping & monitoring, continuous improvement)

• Training
  • Ensure alignment of training catalogue, support updates if needed
  • Contribute to the creation of common learning, development, awareness and knowledge solutions to deploy a continuous learning and self-directed development culture for all of AIRBUS
  • Support learning deployment when needed
  • Develop learning solutions when needed

• Ad-hoc projects
  • when need arises (eg communication, supplier performance, tools improvement, KPIs)

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in L&D, business oriented
• Digital and innovation skills and mindset (experience with Google Workspace & Gemini is a plus)
• Good communication skills and assertiveness
• Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
• Capacity to manage stakeholders and open doors  
• High level of autonomy
• Positive, strategic and data-driven mindset
• Capacity and willingness to work in a team
• Knowledge of Procurement and/ or operations is a plus
• Occasional travels in Europe
