Role Description

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Technology Lead at the Vice President level in Pune to spearhead the delivery and successful execution of its Application Infrastructure Strategy. Sitting within Group Technology Infrastructure, this leadership role is responsible for tracking critical program deliverables, driving high-impact project management, managing budgets, and navigating risk and performance matrices. It combines strategic technology vision, rigorous risk oversight, agile execution, and senior stakeholder collaboration to advance the Bank's ongoing transformation.

Your key responsibilities

• Program Governance & Process Adherence: Adhere to and effectively utilize established governance frameworks and standardized project management processes to ensure consistent, transparent, and efficient delivery of the assigned program's objectives.
• Project & Initiative Delivery: Manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource utilization, and timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, proactive communication on assigned project status, performance, risks, and financials to relevant stakeholders, including the Program Delivery Lead, Internal Teams, and PMO.
• Risk & Performance Management: Rigorously track, report, and proactively manage risks, project performance metrics, and financial aspects for assigned projects, ensuring rapid identification and escalation of issues to the Program Delivery Lead.

Your skills and experience

Must Have:

• Project Management Expertise: A minimum 15 years of experience with 5 years track record of progressive experience in program or project management, with significant exposure navigating security operations, monitoring, and compliance remediation environments.
• Governance & Process Expertise: Demonstrated success in enforcing program governance frameworks, process compliance, and standardized project management methodologies across infrastructure operations.
• Budget & Resource Management: Proven ability to manage complex project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation while balancing capacity, cost, and delivery priorities and proactively addressing variances.
• Strategic Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate complex, technical and strategic information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, effectively influencing senior stakeholders and managing scope expectations.
• Execution Mindset: Strong background in technology project management with a deep commitment to driving rapid, high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
