As part of the Corporate Banking division of Deutsche Bank, Global Corporate Coverage (GCC) & Risk Management Solutions (RMS) aims to build long-term, trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with the major corporates and institutions around the world.

The Coverage ACO team supports GCC and RMS Accountable Client Owners (ACOs) globally, helping them maintain Know Your Client compliance and access the information required to meet current policy standards. Enhanced regulation has increased the need to monitor and escalate unusual trading patterns, changes in client behaviour and deviations from expected transaction volumes or frequencies across asset classes and products. In this role, you will represent GCC and RMS business interests in Transaction Monitoring change initiatives and support the execution of related business-as-usual activities.

Your key responsibilities

• Coordinate the timely and accurate completion of GCC & RMS Transaction Monitoring activities, escalating risks, delays and dependencies where required.
• Provide central Coverage ACO management with clear management information, progress updates, risk and issue reporting, and support for GCC & RMS change initiatives.
• Support the remediation of existing and future audit findings by tracking actions, managing dependencies and helping ensure agreed target dates are met consistently.
• Attend all relevant transaction monitoring working groups, design and governance forums. Create information packs and communications, where appropriate, for distribution across GCC & RMS, ensuring that relevant stakeholders understand key changes, impacts, actions and timelines.
• Daily engagement with sales, trading, business management to ensure your knowledge of GTB and Markets products, trading strategies and client types is detailed.
• Become an expert in dbSleuth application

Your skills and experience

• You will either have a background in statistics, trading or have granular GTB and Markets product understanding (e.g. Cash Management/Trade Finance/FX/rates)
• Experience and a good understanding of Transaction Monitoring / Trading Surveillance models
• Experience writing business requirement documents.
• Experience translating complex issues and scenarios into simple statements for senior stakeholders.
• You have the ability to encourage and motivate colleagues in key internal business partner teams around the global DB infrastructure to obtain specific, accurate of working and timely answers/solutions to issues
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
