WORK YOU’LL DO

As a Junior Manual Tester, you will support our development team in delivering major business and technology transformation initiatives for leading EU Public Institutions and Banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the system under testing and understand functional and business requirements
• Support the preparation and execution of test strategies and test plans
• Review and understand functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Create, execute and maintain test cases, test scripts and test data
• Support the preparation of test environments and required testing activities
• Perform manual testing activities, including functional, integration, system and regression testing
• Document and report test results accurately
• Identify, log and track defects and potential improvements
• Collaborate with development and business teams to support defect investigation and resolution
• Support the preparation of documentation related to testing and quality management activities
• Execute integration tests to validate that systems meet defined requirements
• Identify issues that may impact the correct functioning of applications
• Contribute to test result analysis and reporting
• Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures
• Use appropriate testing tools to support software quality activities
• Continuously develop your knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and emerging technologies

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• Understanding of Test Analysis, Test Design, Test Execution and Test Reporting
• Familiarity with creating and executing test cases, test scenarios and test scripts
• Familiarity with functional, integration, system and regression testing
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability and motivation to learn new technologies, tools and testing methodologies
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Automation testing knowledge or exposure is considered a plus
• Knowledge of AI technologies or AI-assisted testing tools is considered a plus
