Junior Financial Transactions Analyst
Strategy & Transactions (SaT) | EY GDS Spain | Hybrid
The opportunity
Join EY GDS Spain and become part of our Strategy & Transactions team, working closely with EY Spain professionals on high-impact projects across the financial services sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your financial and analytical skills while gaining exposure to transactions, banking, financing structures, and asset management projects.
You will contribute to financial analysis, market research, and due diligence activities that support key business and investment decisions for our clients.
Your key responsibilities
- Support transaction and due diligence projects by conducting financial and business research.
- Analyze financial information, market trends, and industry developments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in projects related to banking, financing, asset management, and financial services.
- Collaborate with EY teams in Spain to deliver high-quality analysis within established deadlines.
- Develop insights that help clients assess opportunities, risks, and investment decisions.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Interest in corporate finance, banking, transactions, and financial services.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- High level of English (B2-C1).
Ideally, you'll also have
- Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Financial Markets, Insurance, Economic Analysis, or similar.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, VBA, or other analytical tools.
- Previous internship or work experience in finance, banking, advisory, audit, consulting, or corporate finance.
- Progress toward, interest in, or plans to pursue the CFA qualification.
