Job Description
Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operational Program Manager to lead the integration, execution, and delivery of U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement programs for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite systems, ground gateways, and ALG uniquely developed products. This role sits at the critical intersection of government sales requirements, supply chain procurement, contract execution, and invoicing ensuring that complex federal acquisition programs move forward with regulatory compliance, operational precision, and accountability.
In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination between ALG government sales teams (Leo for Government), engineering, supply chain and procurement operations, contracts and compliance, mission assurance, and finance translating unique U.S. Government and DoD satellite communication requirements into executable procurement orders, compliant contract actions, and accurate invoicing workflows. You will be responsible for the detailed analysis and execution of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements, including supply chain risk management provisions under DFARS Part 252.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations, and has a proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders — from engineering and sourcing teams to government contracting officers — without direct authority. You will own the end-to-end operational program lifecycle for government procurement actions, from requirements integration through contract execution, order fulfillment, and financial close-out.

• Manage complex interdependencies across procurement actions, engineering milestones, test venue requirements (e.g., Flatsat/HITL), and government delivery schedules
