Senior Data Engineer with Databricks

The opportunity

We are looking for experienced data engineers who want to build modern data platforms for leading clients. You will work with the latest technologies, introduce new solutions and collaborate with top experts in their industries. As part of our global team, you will work on international projects, mostly built on the three major cloud providers: Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data platforms that help our clients and business partners make better decisions
• Deliver robust solutions on Databricks and modern data warehouses
• Build and maintain reliable, well-tested data pipelines
• Model data for data marts, data warehouses and data lakes
• Make sure data solutions are high quality, performant and cost-efficient
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to data solutions

To qualify for the role, you must have

• At least 4 years of experience in data engineering, including 3 years with big data
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Solid background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering and data modeling
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Experience with at least one public cloud: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Strong design skills for relational databases and non-relational storage
• Good understanding of data marts, data warehouses, data lakes and data mesh
• Experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps and CI/CD principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in big data environments
• Very good English, spoken and written

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of data formats such as Parquet, ORC and Avro, and table formats such as Delta Lake, Apache Hudi or Apache Iceberg
• Experience with AI agents, such as building agentic workflows or using large language models (LLMs) in data solutions
