AML Operations & Project Management Associate

Your key responsibilities

This role combines day-to-day AML operational support, reporting and monitoring activities with project coordination and continuous improvement responsibilities.

The successful candidate will support the team throughout the AML client lifecycle, including the onboarding of new clients and monitoring of the existing client population, while also contributing to projects aimed at simplifying, standardizing and automating AML processes.

The position is particularly suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on and operational, but who is also curious about technology and interested in improving the way teams work.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Information Systems or a related field.
• Initial professional experience, internship or graduate experience in project management, operations, financial services, compliance, AML/KYC or transformation.
• Previous exposure to AML/KYC is an advantage, but deep technical AML expertise is not required.
• Experience working in a project, PMO or operational transformation environment would be an advantage.

What we look for

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable working with data, trackers and operational reporting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Interest in technology, automation and AI.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate or similar tools would be considered an advantage.
