Talent Enablement Center | Supervising Associate
Opening paragraph
The Supervising Associate Talent Team Coordinator is an experienced HR operations professional who partners with Talent Consultants and Talent leadership to coordinate employee life-cycle activities, guide team members, and strengthen consistent, high-quality service delivery.
The opportunity
As a Supervising Associate Talent Team Coordinator, you will combine hands-on operational expertise with team support. You will support complex Talent activities, coach coordinators, oversee quality and service delivery, and help improve processes, controls, tools, and the client experience.
ROLE FOCUS Operational excellence, client service, quality, development, and continuous improvement
Your key responsibilities
• Operational support to Talent Team Coordinators, including setting priorities, monitoring workloads, reinforcing established procedures, and helping the team meet service expectations.
• Coordinate the administration of employee life-cycle and Talent processes, which may include performance management, promotions, variable pay, orientation, people surveys, upward feedback, separations, and other assigned programs.
• Coach team members in real time, provide ongoing feedback, support development planning, and serve as a trusted resource for questions, escalations, and complex or non-standard requests.
• Lead or support onboarding and training for new hires, including scheduling, documentation, process education, system readiness, and consistent integration into the team.
• Conduct or support in-person candidate interviews and assess communication skills, professional presence, and alignment with role requirements and team culture.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of transactions, documentation, system updates, and tracking activities, including work performed in SuccessFactors and other firm tools.
• Interface with employees, Talent Consultants, Talent leadership, and partner teams; resolve routine and moderately complex inquiries and escalate higher-risk matters with relevant context and recommended next steps.
• Use metrics, quality reviews, trend information, and client feedback to identify service risks and recommend improvements to workflows, controls, documentation, and customer experience.
• Create and maintain workstream procedures, job aids, and training materials; promote consistent application of firm policies, confidentiality requirements, and data-handling practices.
• Support local administrative counseling processes, including feedback collection, documentation, system updates, and summary reporting to appropriate leadership.
• Lead or contribute to special projects, process improvements, and technology or automation initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and service delivery.
Skills and attributes for success
How your skills and experience will make an impact:
• Strong client-service orientation with the judgment to balance responsiveness, consistency, confidentiality, and policy requirements.
• Ability to lead through influence, coach others, build trust, and maintain effective working relationships across a matrixed organization.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes, evaluate options, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong organization and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, stakeholders, and changing priorities.
• Clear written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills, including the confidence to communicate with Talent leadership and key client contacts.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while knowing when to consult or escalate.
To qualify for the role, you must demonstrate
• Five or more years of progressive experience in human resources operations, shared services, Talent coordination, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and common case-management, tracking, and HR systems.
• Broad working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, employee life-cycle processes, and the importance of safeguarding confidential information.
• Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, coordinating, or providing day-to-day direction to less experienced colleagues.
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones and during peak business periods, as needed.
Ideally, you'll also have
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
