Job Description

Supervising Associate Talent Reporting Specialist
Talent Enablement Center | Supervising Associate

Opening paragraph
The Supervising Associate Talent Reporting Specialist is an experienced reporting professional who partners with Talent leaders and reporting clients to deliver accurate, insightful, and responsibly governed workforce reporting while supporting the Talent Reporting Team Leads.
The opportunity
As a Supervising Associate Talent Reporting Specialist, you will manage complex reporting work, support Talent Reporting Team Leads, coach specialists, oversee quality, and help advance reporting processes, automation, and self-service enablement. You will serve as a trusted resource for team members and clients across service lines and geographies.
ROLE FOCUS
Operational excellence, client service, quality, development, and continuous improvement

Your key responsibilities
• Provide operational support to Talent Reporting Team Leads and specialists, including coordination, prioritization, quality oversight, escalations, and real-time coaching.
• Own or support a portfolio of recurring and ad hoc Talent reporting requests and projects, establishing scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare, review, or advise on complex reporting requests that may require data from multiple sources, strong business context, and careful interpretation of results.
• Perform second-level quality reviews to validate logic, data integrity, presentation, confidentiality, and alignment with the intended business question before delivery.
• Use strong reporting, process, and technology knowledge to solve moderately complex problems and translate client needs into clear, actionable reporting solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls, documentation, self-service enablement, and automation; partner across teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Monitor project and report plans, identify risks to deadlines or quality, and develop mitigation strategies; provide status updates and recommendations to leadership as needed.
• Coach and develop less experienced team members, support onboarding and technical training, and reinforce consistent methods, standards, and client-service expectations.
• Conduct or support in-person candidate interviews and assess communication skills, professional presence, analytical capability, and alignment with role requirements and team culture.
• Support local administrative counseling processes, including feedback collection, documentation, system updates, and reporting to appropriate leadership.
• Build trusted relationships with Talent leaders, service line and regional teams, and other reporting or technology partners; facilitate resolution of cross-team issues and complex requests.
• Promote responsible data use by applying firm privacy, confidentiality, access, and governance requirements and by escalating potential risks appropriately.
Skills and attributes for success
How your skills and experience will make an impact:
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex Talent questions, connect related issues, and explain findings clearly to varied audiences.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with close attention to data quality, logic, consistency, and the business meaning of results.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels, assert well-supported ideas, and build commitment to shared solutions.
• Strong project-management and operational-excellence capabilities, including managing competing priorities and responding effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to coach others, provide constructive feedback, and create a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Clear written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills, including the ability to communicate risks, recommendations, and status to leadership.
To qualify for the role, you must demonstrate
• Five or more years of progressive experience in Talent or HR reporting, data analysis, business analysis, reporting operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency with Word and PowerPoint; experience with reporting, visualization, workflow, or automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience managing reporting projects or workstreams and reviewing complex deliverables for accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, coordinating, or providing day-to-day direction to less experienced colleagues.
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones and during peak reporting periods, as needed.
Ideally, you'll also have
• Experience in a professional services or large, matrixed organization.
• Experience working with multiple data sources, reporting platforms, paginated reporting, automation, or self-service reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of Talent processes, data privacy, access controls, and reporting governance.
