Job Description
Are you ready to own the strategy that eliminates millions in vendor financial friction? Amazon's EU Financial Deductions Vendor Compliance Program (FD VCP) is seeking a Program Manager III to drive strategic program design, cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and scalable mechanism-building across our global vendor compliance ecosystem. You'll operate as a single-threaded owner with full autonomy — from problem definition to solution design, stakeholder alignment, launch, and impact measurement — turning pilot programs into scaled, multi-marketplace operations.
This is not your typical program management role. You'll shape the strategic direction of a dual-service model — Proactive account management and E2E Financial dispute settlement — partnering closely with the Account Management leadership who owns business goals and team execution. Your focus will be on designing program frameworks, building governance mechanisms, driving vendor experience transformation (VSAT), and influencingcross-functional teams spanning FinOps, Amazon Vendor Services, Retail, Item and Supply Management, and Category Leadership to unlock operational efficiencies and sustained metric improvement at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Drive continuous program improvement by defining success metrics, building measurement frameworks, and enabling data-driven decision making across WBR, MBR, QBR, and Account Manager Scorecard governance cadences
Design and scale proactive vendor defect prevention programs across marketplaces by building globally replicable playbooks, operating models, and program frameworks that convert pilot programs into multi-marketplace operations
Influence senior leadership stakeholders to secure investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic buy-in for program growth by writing effective narratives (BRDs, PR-FAQs) and presenting to directors and vice presidents
Partner with cross-functional teams (FinOps, AVS, Retail, ISM, Category Leadership) to define program strategy, set objectives, analyze data, and drive measurable improvements — proactively identifying and mitigating risks across teams, processes, and systems before they become roadblocks
Own the vendor experience transformation roadmap (VSAT), designing engagement frameworks and feedback mechanisms that improve vendor satisfaction while partnering with Account Management leadership on execution and delivery
