What this job involves:

This role sits at the intersection of data intelligence and performance excellence, where you'll serve as the analytical backbone for our client project portfolios. You'll combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to extract meaningful insights from complex project data, build custom reporting solutions that drive visibility, and partner closely with project management teams to elevate KPI performance across diverse portfolios. As our performance intelligence expert, you'll work seamlessly across both JLL internal systems and client project management platforms to ensure real-time visibility into portfolio health, identify emerging trends before they become issues, and drive accountability through data-driven storytelling. Success here requires more than just technical skills; you'll need a proactive mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that tangibly improve project outcomes. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Analyze project portfolio data across multiple client accounts and project types, extracting and transforming information from various sources including project management systems, financial platforms, and operational databases to uncover performance trends, patterns, and anomalies requiring attention
• Design and build custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored to client and internal stakeholder needs, creating dynamic reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into portfolio performance while ensuring complex data is communicated in accessible, actionable formats
• Own the tracking and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) across assigned portfolios, establishing baseline metrics, tracking progress against targets, and developing scorecards that enable proactive intervention when performance deviates from expectations
• Serve as power user and subject matter expert for client project management systems of record, maintaining proficiency across multiple platforms simultaneously while ensuring data integrity through regular audits, validation checks, and quality control processes
• Partner proactively with JLL project management teams to understand performance drivers and challenges, asking insightful questions that uncover root causes of KPI variances and facilitating data-driven performance review discussions that drive accountability
• Conduct variance analysis and root cause analysis on performance gaps, identifying why deviations occur and providing project managers with actionable intelligence to improve project delivery and outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and performance tracking methodologies, recommending system enhancements and workflow improvements that increase efficiency and data quality across portfolios
• Monitor real-time project data health and flag data quality issues impacting reporting accuracy, working collaboratively with project teams to resolve discrepancies, missing information, and system errors while training teams on proper data entry practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or related analytical role; experience in project management, construction, or real estate industries preferred
• Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency preferred to support our diverse, global client base
• Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, macros, and Power Query to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms to create compelling visual narratives from complex data
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis skills, with capacity to identify patterns and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with JLL internal systems such as IngeniousBuild, AdaptiveWork, or other enterprise project management platforms
• Previous exposure to construction or project management processes and terminology, enabling faster interpretation of project data and more meaningful stakeholder engagement
• Background in finance, accounting, or budget management as it relates to project controls and financial performance tracking
• Experience supporting multiple portfolios simultaneously across different client accounts, industries, or project types
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance requirements that ensure integrity and reliability of reporting outputs
