Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. From personalized music playlists to exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams to artist merch, Amazon Music is innovating at some of the most exciting intersections of music and culture. We offer experiences that serve all listeners with our different tiers of service: Prime members get access to all the music in shuffle mode, and top ad-free podcasts, included with their membership; customers can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for unlimited, on-demand access to 100 million songs, including millions in HD, Ultra HD, and spatial audio; and anyone can listen for free by downloading the Amazon Music app or via Alexa-enabled devices. Join us for the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.

Are you passionate about audiobooks, entertainment, and building partnerships that drive growth at scale? Do you excel at turning insights into growth initiatives? Amazon Music is seeking an analytical, results-oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to grow audiobooks on Amazon Music. You will build and launch product marketing initiatives that acquire new audiobook listeners and deepen engagement among existing ones, working cross-functionally across Amazon Music and Audible to influence partners and deliver against shared roadmaps.

The successful candidate is an independent, creative problem-solver with strong business acumen who can lead multiple projects against competing deadlines. You bring proven product marketing, program management, and stakeholder management skills, and you deliver results under time constraints. You will partner with teams across Amazon Music to drive acquisition and engagement strategies that grow audiobook listenership, lead the Audiobooks product marketing strategy, report progress and upcoming projects to senior leadership, and champion best practices across global teams. You are well versed in customer behavior and business drivers, and you conceive new initiatives that measurably move key KPIs.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end marketing strategy to drive acquisition, adoption, and engagement of audiobook listeners worldwide, across owned, paid, and lifecycle channels.
• Lead complex, cross-functional go-to-market initiatives for new audiobook features, from positioning through launch and post-launch measurement.
• Partner with product teams across Amazon Music and Audible to influence the roadmap and shape features that grow audiobook acquisition, adoption, and retention.
• Define and own an experimentation roadmap for audiobook adoption, reporting results to leadership and scaling wins into lifecycle programs (e.g., adoption and reactivation campaigns, in-app education).
• Partner with content and content marketing teams to connect premium content marketing with growth marketing, turning tentpole titles and catalog into durable listener habit.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform messaging and positioning, sharing insights and clear next steps with leadership.
• Tailor strategy across international marketplaces, accounting for differences between established and newer markets, and partner with regional teams on localization.
• Identify and pursue cross-category opportunities across Amazon (e.g., Prime, retail, devices) to reach new audiobook audiences.
• Lead the definition of ROI and success metrics for new strategies, partnering with BI, Product, and Finance on trade-offs and funded recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience in customer lifecycle marketing or partner marketing management
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and influencing colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders
- 6+ years of experience developing and executing product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for consumer-facing digital products or services
- 5+ years of experience managing marketing budgets and making data-driven investment decisions across paid, owned, and earned channels
- 6+ years of experience working with product management and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer insights
- 5+ years of experience designing and running A/B tests or experimentation programs to optimize marketing performance
- 6+ years of experience creating and presenting strategic marketing plans, business cases, and post-launch analyses to VP-level or above audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- MBA
- 5+ years of experience in subscription-based, streaming, or digital media/entertainment marketing
- 3+ years of experience marketing audiobooks, podcasts, or audio entertainment products
- 5+ years of experience driving adoption and engagement within an existing user base (not just net-new acquisition)
- 3+ years of experience leveraging cross-category or cross-platform partnerships to drive incremental growth (e.g., bundling, co-marketing, retail integration)
- 4+ years of experience with lifecycle marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar)
- 5+ years of experience working in a matrixed organization where influence without authority is required to drive results
