The Opportunity

Bring your high-voltage expertise to a role where every assignment presents a new opportunity to solve, lead, and make an impact.

As a High Voltage Field Service Engineer with Hitachi Energy, you’ll perform complex field service assignments supporting High Voltage Circuit Breakers and other High Voltage equipment up to 800kV. From installation and commissioning to troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, overhauls, and repairs, you’ll use your technical expertise to solve challenging electrical and mechanical problems and help customers keep critical equipment operating safely and reliably.

You’ll have the autonomy to assess unusual field conditions, determine corrective actions with minimal guidance, and anticipate customer needs. You’ll also lead assigned field service projects, analyze test results, and provide technical direction in the assembly and operation of specialized test equipment.

Your impact won’t stop at the job site. By developing strong customer relationships, recognizing potential business opportunities, and recommending product and process improvements, you’ll help shape a better service experience and contribute to the continued growth of Hitachi Energy.

If you’re energized by complex technical challenges, customer interaction, and the opportunity to continuously expand your expertise, this is your opportunity to make a difference in the field.

  • Provide technical leadership in the assembly and operation of field service test equipment.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and recommend product, process, and service improvements through customer insight and collaboration across Hitachi Energy.
