What You Will Do
As a Program Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful execution of program objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with program goals, improve efficiency, and reduce risks. Your contributions will directly impact the cost, schedule, and quality outcomes of our programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and automate data models and reporting tools essential for Cost Account Management of progress-based payment documentation.
- Strengthen the integrity and traceability of program data used for invoicing and compliance.
- Consolidate multiple data sources into actionable information to improve cycle time and accuracy for evidence collection.
- Manage and lead operations proposal activities, including task descriptions and basis of estimates that align with program strategies.
- Oversee program tracking, including work package maintenance, Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates, and Estimate at Complete (EAC) generation.
- Monitor labor charges and provide support for Program Work Authorization (PWA).
- Coordinate and develop operations requirements for all gate reviews and execute proposed strategies for effective implementation in future production.
- Support master scheduling, planned independent demand monitoring, long-term planning, and sales inventory and operations planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program efficiency while minimizing financial and schedule risks.
- Interface with external customers and internal stakeholders to address challenges and ensure alignment on deliverables.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of operations, manufacturing, or engineering experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience in proposals and/or budget management.
- Experience developing and maintaining data models and reporting tools for operational or financial purposes.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures or working with electro-optical assemblies used in surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
- Earned Value Certification with Control/Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, such as SAP.
- CORE/Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
- Program management or factory leadership experience.
- Experience transitioning programs from design to manufacturing.
- Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with manufacturing and functional teams.
- Experience generating and presenting Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
