Assistant Facilities Manager - Soft Services | Chennai

At JLL, we are shaping the future of real estate for a better world. We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Assistant Facilities Manager - Soft Services to support the delivery of exceptional workplace experiences within a large corporate environment in Chennai.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of soft services, ensuring the highest standards of service quality, workplace experience, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with service partners and stakeholders to manage housekeeping, pantry and cafeteria operations, mailroom services, landscaping, pest control, reception, and other workplace support services.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging workplace environments, maintaining service excellence, and driving continuous improvements that enhance employee and visitor experiences.

What this Job Involves

• Support the delivery of end-to-end soft services operations across the site.
• Manage housekeeping, pantry, reception, mailroom, landscaping, pest control, and workplace services.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure service quality and compliance with standards.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Resolve employee and client service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure workplace facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Support employee engagement, wellness, and workplace experience initiatives.
• Assist in managing soft services budgets, consumables, and inventory controls.
• Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in Facilities Management, Soft Services, Workplace Experience, Hospitality, or Corporate Real Estate.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping, front office, pantry, and workplace services operations.
• Experience in vendor management, service delivery monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of SLA/KPI management and service quality standards.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facilities management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in corporate workplaces, commercial real estate, hospitality, or integrated facilities management.
• Certification in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or Customer Experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of EHS standards and workplace compliance requirements.
