Job Description:

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing and operational equipment.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
* Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently to restore operational functionality.
* Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and machine performance data, in a timely and accurate manner.
* Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
* Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians as required.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
