Job Description
DUTIES: Build, integrate, and optimize the Mechatronic Abstraction Interface. Responsible for the entire life cycle of the assigned product, including requirements, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the software modules. Participate in the design of a best-inclass in-vehicle Abstracted Mechatronic Platform for GM new electronic architecture. Follow software development process and ensure that the designed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation OR Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation One (1) year of experience with: Automotive control systems with RTOS platforms; Programming and debugging complex code base in C, C++; Scripting languages including shell and Python; Automotive serial communication CAN/ LIN protocols; AutoSAR and Adaptive AutoSAR developments; Service-oriented communication protocols including SOME/IP, DDS, and REST; and Scrum/Agile software development process and SCM tools.
