JOB OBJECTIVE

The Service manager define et communicate all the financial topics (cost & revenue for TSA and On demand) and responsible to protect Thales in front of client and providers

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The focus of the portfolio would be to:

  • Advising on a wide spectrum of duties related legal & finance matters (including reviewing, negotiating commercial contracts, and related financial duties) for transition services agreements at Global Level.
  • Working closely with the Program director to identify areas of legal risk and mitigate those risks effectively on all projects and/or matters undertaken.
  • Manage, liaise and instruct external counsels on consulting, IS/IT and strategic matters.
  • Working closely with the Group Corporate functions.
  • Ensure compliance with changes in laws and regulations.
  • Perform other day-to-day business and finance and legal affairs-related tasks.
  • Control an evaluate the program
  • Raise risks on program based on program evaluation and scenarios
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Define provider finance and legal strategy for the program

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Significant experience in drafting, negotiating and/or advising on two or more of the following practice areas: Transactional Operations, Corporate M&A & Corporate Finance.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Professional qualifications in Legal & Finance

  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to assess and articulate complex and nuanced legal and finance issues clearly and concisely. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, taking a proactive and resourceful approach.
  • Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion.
  • React quickly and flexibly to changing circumstances.
  • Creative problem-solver who can resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and practical ways.
  • Able to handle high volumes of work with constantly changing priorities and perform under pressure.
  • Able to provide legal advice in a succinct, pragmatic and commercially aware manner.
  • Able to effectively plan and integrate work with others.
  • Significant experience in drafting, negotiating and/or advising on two or more of the following practice areas: Transactional Operations, Corporate M&A and Corporate Finance.
  • Solid experience in commercial matters in legal practice or in an in-house legal role.
  • Sound judgment and ability to work with tight timelines.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiating skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • A solid team player and able to work independently.
  • Candidates must have an excellent command of English.
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
