You will be part of a collaborative team supporting procedures such as:
- Cardiac catheterizations and angiograms
- Angioplasty and stent placement
- Atherectomy and Thrombectomy
- Valvuloplasty
- Other invasive cardiovascular procedures
What You’ll Do
Provide Exceptional Patient Care
Assess and prepare patients before procedures, monitor hemodynamics and vital signs during procedures.
Be an Integral Part of the Procedure Team
Work directly with cardiologists and other clinical professionals while performing circulating and hemodynamic monitoring responsibilities.
Educate and Support Patients & Families
Help patients and their families understand procedures, recovery expectations, post-procedure care, and lifestyle recommendations.
Respond When It Matters Most
Participate in the Cath Lab on-call rotation and support urgent cardiac cases, including STEMI activations, where teamwork, clinical expertise, and rapid intervention can make a critical difference.
Collaborate Across the Care Team
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, and partner with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and safe discharge planning.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of Registered Nurse experience; Critical Care preferred
- Current RN license through the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
