Business Analyst, Investor Services – JLL
What this job involves:
As a Business Analyst for our National Property & Development Services (PDS) Investor Team, you'll be at the center of strategic intelligence and operational excellence for institutional investor clients. You'll transform complex portfolio data into actionable insights that drive capital planning decisions across industrial, office, retail, and medical office assets nationwide. This role combines analytical rigor with business acumen—organizing market intelligence, tracking multi-million dollar capital execution pipelines, and producing executive-level reporting that shapes both client conversations and internal growth strategy. If you thrive on connecting the dots across markets, love turning data into opportunity, and want to support high-impact investor relationships at a global scale, this is your chance to make a measurable difference.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Analyze institutional investor portfolios to identify white space opportunities where JLL's full suite of services can create additional value for clients across multiple asset types and markets
- Build and maintain comprehensive capital execution pipeline tracking, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all markets while coordinating updates with local market leaders and third-party teams
- Generate regular business intelligence reports for current and target investor clients, translating complex data into clear insights suitable for both client-facing presentations and internal strategy discussions
- Manage revenue tracking processes including opportunity input, conversion tracking, and work authorization completion in partnership with JBS teams to ensure proper coding and documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional activities including contract follow-up with Legal, meeting scheduling with stakeholders, and collaboration with sales enablement teams to track open engagements
- Support team operations by maintaining SharePoint resources, updating marketing and training materials, compiling case studies, and assisting with new employee onboarding and systems training
- Serve as a liaison between the national platform and local market leaders, building working relationships and ensuring seamless communication of pipeline status and growth opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Communications, or related field
- Minimun of 5 years of experience in business analysis, operations management, or client-facing coordination within commercial real estate, financial services, or professional services
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and comfort learning multiple internal systems for pipeline tracking and reporting
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to organize complex portfolio data and produce executive-level reports and presentations
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders, markets, and timelines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in commercial real estate operations, capital markets, or investor services
- Familiarity with property types including industrial, office, retail, and medical office assets
- Experience supporting national or multi-market teams and coordinating across geographic regions
- Knowledge of capital planning strategies and real estate portfolio management concepts
- Project management experience or certification (PMP, CAPM)
- Experience with SharePoint administration and knowledge management systems
- Background in revenue operations, sales operations, or business development support functions
