We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Consultant to join the Primary Market Research Team within our Swiss Analytics & Advisory Services Team, based in Zürich and Rotkreuz, Switzerland.


This role combines qualitative primary market research in Switzerland with competitive intelligence. You will manage projects end to end, conduct and synthesize primary and secondary research, and translate complex market evidence into clear, actionable insights for pharmaceutical clients.

Working across dynamic specialty markets, you will partner directly with clients and healthcare experts to address key commercial questions and support informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.


Main Responsibilities:


As a Consultant, you will manage multiple client projects simultaneously, collaborate with colleagues across a range of team structures, and serve as a key point of contact for clients.


Qualitative Market Research & Competitive Intelligence


  • Lead qualitative market research and competitive intelligence projects end to end for pharmaceutical clients across the DACH region
  • Translate client business questions into appropriate research approaches and structured project plans
  • Conduct primary research, including interviews with physicians and other healthcare professionals in German and, where appropriate, French
  • Complement primary research with targeted secondary research and desk analysis where required
  • Analyze and synthesize market, competitor, and stakeholder evidence to identify relevant insights, opportunities, and risks
  • Translate complex findings into clear, actionable commercial recommendations and compelling client storylines
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations and deliver results to client stakeholders
  • Own project timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day client interactions across the full project lifecycle
  • Manage several projects in parallel while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams and disciplines
  • Contribute to the continuous development of research approaches, client solutions, and team capabilities

Qualifications, Experience and Skills


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in life sciences or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, market research, competitive intelligence, or a related field
  • Business-fluent German and English are required; conversational French is considered an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Swiss pharmaceutical market
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex evidence into business-relevant insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident and client-oriented approach
  • Effective project and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work across parallel engagements
  • Structured and independent way of working, combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across the organization

Reporting Line


The role reports to the Team Lead Qualitative Insights within the Primary Market Research Team of the Swiss Analytics & Advisory Services Team.
