Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Fri & Sat, 5:00am – 7:30pm

                   Sundays, 5:00am – 5:30pm

 

As a Maintenance Technician at Stryker, you'll help keep our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently through equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. This hands-on role is ideal for a mechanically and electrically inclined problem solver who enjoys working with advanced manufacturing equipment and driving continuous improvement.


What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, automated equipment, PLC-controlled systems, packaging equipment, and other production machinery.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues.
  • Respond to equipment downtime events and restore equipment to operational status safely and efficiently.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation within the CMMS maintenance tracking system.
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, Lean, reliability, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and maintenance-related projects.
  • Partner with production teams to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service.

What You Need:

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of technical school, apprenticeship training, or equivalent maintenance education; OR
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance, equipment repair, manufacturing maintenance, or technical troubleshooting experience supporting CNC Machines and automated production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and documentation.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting CNC machines and automated production equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial controls.
  • Experience with CMMS maintenance software.
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry 10-50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Use hands for grasping, handling tools, and performing repairs.
  • Work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and other protective gear as required.
