Job Overview

The Site Strategy Lead (SSL) is integral to the development of our delivery strategies at the very early phase of proposal development, and is a key player in supporting the study specific requests for the Data Generation group from the clients in the request for proposal.

The SSL is key in building the most efficient and effective scenario for study execution during our sales process. This global team is working closely with other functional unit leads, and having the ability to build a strong proposal that IQVIA is able to operationalize and execute.

In addition to the pre-award support the team provides, the SSL is very involved in the post award phase early on, and will work with the assigned Clinical Operations Lead (COL) to ensure that the sold Data Generation strategy is passed on to the assigned study team.

Key Activities

• Assist with overall project efficiency and adherence to project timelines and financial goals.
• Assist with turning a study budget and strategy into action that make RWE studies more predictable, shorten timelines, improve data quality and provide innovative solutions to the clients.
• Act as a single functional lead for Data Generation proposals, covering Site ID, Site and Patient Engagement, Site Management and Technology strategies.
• Partners with internal teams to understand relevant challenges within a study and to identify the Data Generation strategies that can help meet these challenges.
• Serves as single point of contact on the study to answer pre and post award site strategy questions.

Qualifications

• Life sciences educational background
• Prior experience and knowledge of clinical operations – monitoring processes, documentation, GCP standards
• In depth knowledge of, and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements; i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
• Knowledge of project budgets and the use of pricing tools.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to dissect budgets, negotiate prices with internal teams and understand the “big budget picture”.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent command of English.
• Results-driven with focus on excellence and quality.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to manage several projects with overlapping deliverables & schedule.
• Strong team player and collaborator with ability to operate in fast-paced environment.
