Job Description

Responsible for supporting and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment within the Delivery Station. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits while identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions. Support safety training, emergency preparedness, contractor management, and compliance with company HSE standards and applicable legal requirements. Partner with Operations and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety performance.

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections and workplace risk assessments across operational areas.
- Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure timely closure.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and support root cause analysis.
- Monitor compliance with HSE procedures, company standards, and applicable legal requirements.
- Support the implementation of safety programs, initiatives, and continuous improvement actions.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
- Monitor PPE compliance and ensure appropriate PPE is available and correctly used.
- Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, fire safety, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct contractor safety monitoring and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, risk assessments, and incident documentation.
- Work closely with Operations and site leadership to address safety concerns and improve safety performance.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage employee engagement in hazard reporting and safe behaviors.

Basic Qualifications:

- 1+ years of customer service or back-office roles in corporate environments experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience with professional documentation using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
- Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization, or experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- * NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred.
